Nike Sells 3Million Super Eagles Jerseys On First Day Of Exhibition

As Nigerians react on the #SoldOut trend
Nike has officially launched the Super Eagles jerseys, a week after the initial date. The jerseys which have received a buzz from the public had three million pre-orders before Friday’s exhibition and had gained great mileage after it was initially exhibited in February.
Rated by Skysports and MirrorSports as the best jerseys BH teams going to the World Cup, the jersey wasn’t enough to meet its great demands as fans lined up to pick theirs in London.
Nigerians have taken to Twitter to express their displeasure with Nike for the number of jerseys they’ve made blaming them for disrespecting the nation.
Some sections of fans expecting to get the jersey have calculated the 3million jerseys made available by Nike to be just 1.6% of the entire Nigerian population. Nike are yet to offer any official statement on the situation of the jersey as the NFF adds a feather to their cap with a commercial success not seen happening just a year ago.
