In the yoruba movie world, the name Opeyemi Aiyeola definitely rings a loud bell. Though, she went off the scene on a self decided sabbatical many years ago, but as soon as she came back, she has succeeded in claiming her right spot with many roles coming her way.
Several times in the make believe industry, there have been serious quarrels among the players with the latest one being that of Iyabo Ojo and Fatia Balogun.
The new quarrel has created division among the actors especially the female ones who have been taking sides between the two warring top Nollywood actresses.
Now, the mother of two, Opeyemi Aiyeola has shown her stance where she belongs to on the issue.
Did she directly make known her position on the issue? No! she just indirectly chides them to keep better friends to avoid such issues.
Many who saw her post on one of her social media handles late last night knew that she was referring to Fatia and Iyabo when she posted a picture of her friends with a caption “genuine and drama free’. Writing under the photograph, she states that ” We don’t do drama, not because issues don’t arise in our friendship but we all have the understanding that genuine friendship is all about loving and understanding one another genuinely and drama should be left to actors for entertainment of others.
The 42 year old Opeyemi Aiyeola, many believe rarely keeps Nollywood friends to avoid a scenario such as the on going drama between Iyabo Ojo and Faithia Balogun or, that of Toyin Abraham versus Lizzy Anjorin.
