Ex IGP’s son, Jamil Abubakar Supports Killing As Punishment For Blasphemers
Jamil Abubakar, the son of a former Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Abubakar, supports the call for death as punishment for blasphemers on Friday 14th May.
Jamil made this statement in a tweet on Friday 14th May at night.
“Blasphemy is punishable by death”, according to Jamil, an experienced pilot and the President of the JMD Foundation, a non-profit organization.
Deborah Samuel, a student at Sokoto’s Shehu Shagari College of Education, was slain for supposed blasphemy against Prophet Muhammad, according to Jamil.
Jamil has declared that all religions preach against blasphemy and urged people to respect others’ beliefs.
Jamil in the post wrote, “In Islam, we respect the Injil, Taura, Zabur, we were never taught to disrespect any of the books, or any of the prophets From Adam to Muhammad SAW and the Quran.
“The punishment for blasphemy is death! in most religions including Christianity. Respect people’s religion. It’s simple!”
