Edo Gov. Obaseki disgraced, almost beaten in New York City By Angry Nigerians
The governor of Edo state, Godwin Obaseki in far away America recently escsped been beaten up by angry Nigerians who lined up a street of Newyork where he had gone to with other top Nigerian officials. The governor who has been having it bad with his former boss and godfather, ex governor Oshiomhole was almost given the same treatment the former Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu got from his kinsmen when he was beaten and chased away from an event to mark the New Yam festival. Though Obaseki’s unpalatable experience did not degenerate to beating like that of the former Deputy Senate President, he was however given a dose of tongue lashing he dare not forget in a while.
As soon as some Nigerians living in the US sighted him, it was rain of insult. It almost got to a level where they wanted to harass him, but the wise Edo Lord quickly scampered into safety.
