Taiwo Rafiu agrees move to Remo Stars

Taiwo Rafiu has agreed a move to Remo Stars from Sunshine Stars, DAILY POST reports.

Rafiu turned down a chance to extend his contract at Sunshine Stars for the opportunity to play continental football with Remo Stars.

Remo Stars are currently bolstering their squad with fresh legs for the new season.

The defender is expected to rival Seun Ogunribide for a place in Daniel Ogunmodede’s team.

Rafiu featured regularly for Sunshine Stars last season.

He scored one goal in 50 appearances for the Akure club.

The 22-year-old joined the Owena Waves in 2022.
