NPFL: Abia Warriors commence training for new season

Abia Warriors have started preparation for the 2024/25 Nigeria Premier Football League season, DAILY POST reports.

The Umuahia club embarked on a short break at the end of last season.

The players met new head coach, Imama Amapakabo on the first day of training.

Amapakabo returned to the club for a second stint earlier this month.

Abia Warriors are expected to unveil their new signings later this week.

The club managed to escape relegation from the NPFL last season.

They lost 2-0 to El-Kanemi Warriors in the final of the President Federation Cup.
