‘Great loss’ – Colleague mourns late Oyo Rep, Akinremi

A member of the House of Representatives representing Ibadan North West/ Ibadan South West federal constituency in Oyo State, Adedeji Dhikrullahi Olajide, has said that his late colleague, Musliudeen Olaide Akinremi, will be greatly missed.

DAILY POST reports that Akinremi died in the early hours of Wednesday.

He was, until his death, the member representing Ibadan North federal constituency in the House of Representatives.

Olajide, in his reaction, expressed deep sorrow over the passing of his colleague.

In a statement signed by his Special Adviser, Media and Pubic Affairs, Olajide described Akinremi as a dedicated and hardworking lawmaker.

He noted that the lawmaker contributed significantly to the development of the country.

“I am deeply saddened by the news of Hon. Akinremi Jagaban’s passing. He was a brother and colleague who showed great commitment to our nation’s progress.

“His demise is a great loss to the National Assembly and the people of Oyo State. Hon. Jagaban will be greatly missed, but his legacy will live on in our hearts and in the lives of those he touched.”
