Jonathan bows to pressure, Drops Sambo As Running Mate For 2015 ..To Be Replaced By Shekarau , Lamido Or Shettima

The Vice President of Nigeria Namadi Sambo will not be the running mate of Mr. President when the later steps out to contest the general election next year February. This cityrovers.blogspot.com can authouritatively reveal. We gathered exclusively that due to the enormous pressure that politicians and stake holders are mounting on President Goodluck Jonathan, he had no option than to drop the Kaduna state born number two man. Though, it has not been made public, those who however know reliably informed us that the vice president is definitely sailing to the end of the road as a landlord in Aso Rock.

Many groups and camps have been singing the song ‘operation ditch Sambo’ and this song has been on for as long as the beginning of the administration. To many, Sambo the erstwhile Kaduna State governor is more of a liability than being valuable to the president which they believe can affect his reelection bid.
However, despite the unfavourable song for Sambo, he remains a loyal deputy who can never rock boat no matter may come his way; the architect-turned-politician, is less of an ambitious person who may find ways of succeeding his boss in 2019 should the rulling party retains the seat.
Interestingly, the anti-Sambo  crusaders feel betrayed that at times like these when Sambo was expected to play a leading role in the anti-terror crusade, he has been allegedly lukewarm to the grave issue. Despite his exalted position, the crusaders feel he has failed and/or refused to play a more active role in the government’s war against the Islamists (Boko Harah) for reasons best known to him”. Sambo’s other sin is that he should have been in the forefront of convincing the Northern elites of his boss reelection project which he has failed to do.
Now the leadership of the party have settled for the trio of Gov. Kashim Shettima of Borno , Jigawa State Governor, Sule Lamido and Minister of Education Ibrahim Shekarau as possible replacement
